Caia Park Nursery was burgled in April leaving equipment and facilities badly damaged. Staff have bounced back from the ordeal by organising a party for the community to say thank you for their help. Members of local play schemes and the elderly attended a special lunch where everyone wore red, white and blue and received a commemorative medal. Headteacher, Sheila Meadows said she felt it was important to record the Queen's reign for prosperity. ![]() Youngsters from Caia Park nursery celebrate ![]() The toddlers dressed up in red, white and blue ![]() The jubilee party was for the whole community ![]() The party was organised by headteacher Sheila Meadows ![]() The party came after the nursery was vandalised | See also: 29 Apr 02 | Wales 14 May 02 | Wales 29 Jan 02 | Wales 08 Jan 02 | Wales 22 Apr 02 | Wales 19 Apr 02 | Wales Internet links: The BBC is not responsible for the content of external internet sites Top Wales stories now: Links to more Wales stories are at the foot of the page. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
