Shadow Foreign Secretary William Hague has confirmed that the Conservatives will not hold a referendum on the Lisbon treaty, now that it has been ratified by all nations.
Tory leader David Cameron had been under pressure to reveal his party's stance after the Lisbon Treaty cleared its final hurdle, and is due to give a statement on Wednesday.
The Czech Republic was the last country to ratify the treaty, with President Vaclav Klaus signing it on Tuesday.
