Pupils attend 3m 'superschool'
Pupils are to attend a new 3m "superschool" in Shropshire after a series of delays.

Bicton and Grafton primary schools merged and relocated in 2006 replacing Victorian premises, deemed unsuitable by Shropshire County Council.

But the school's opening was delayed due to concerns about protecting Greater Crested Newts and construction issues after bad weather.

Grafton had fewer than 30 pupils. The new school in Bicton has 133 pupils.

The site, erected in 19 weeks, has a state-of-the-art pre-school centre and an on-site kitchen.
