Parents urged to change nappies
Pack of nappies
Disposable nappies make up 4% of household waste
Parents in Oxfordshire are being urged to switch to eco-friendly nappies at coffee mornings dubbed Nappucinos.

Families can also win a pack of free nappies in a council draw to mark Real Nappy Week from 29 March to 4 April.

The nationwide campaign by the Women's Environmental Network, to promote cloth nappies instead of disposable ones, which must be sent to landfill sites.

Campaigners say the new generation of washable nappies are a far cry from old-style terry towelling ones.
