Designer lights up resort's prom

The illuminations are part of a Festival of Light

Designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen has unveiled his latest illuminating designs for Blackpool.

His Venus Reborn design will feature in the resort's lights this autumn.

Last year, the designer and presenter created Decodance showgirls who lit up the prom outside the Tower for the Festival of Light.

He said he wanted his "tableau" to look like "a very lavish Christmas shop window or something you might see in a festive film or posh store".
