Pair still held over flat murder
Athelstan Road
The body of the 26-year-old was found in a flat in Athelstan Road
A 25-year-old man questioned by police investigating the murder of a man found stabbed to death in his flat has been released without charge.

The body of David Gavin, 26, was discovered at his home in Athelstan Road, Margate, on Wednesday.

On Monday magistrates granted police more time to question a woman, aged 19, and man, 23, who were arrested separately on Saturday.

A 28-year-old man was released on police bail on Monday afternoon.

Detectives are still appealing for witnesses to the incident to contact Kent Police or Crimestoppers.

More than 50 officers are working on the investigation. A post-mortem examination revealed that Mr Gavin was stabbed to death.

The victim was seen having an argument, involving more than one person, in Athelstan Road earlier on Wednesday.
