Fourth person held in murder hunt
Athelstan Road
The body of the 26-year-old was found in a flat in Athelstan Road
A fourth person has been arrested by police investigating the murder of a man found stabbed to death in his flat in a Kent seaside town.

The body of David Gavin, 26, was discovered at his flat in Athelstan Road, Margate, on Wednesday night.

A man aged 25 was arrested on Sunday morning, following the arrests on Saturday of a woman, 19, and a man, 23.

Magistrates have granted police until Monday afternoon to continue to question a 28-year-old man.

Detectives are still appealing for witnesses to the incident to contact Kent Police or Crimestoppers.

More than 50 officers are working on the investigation. A post-mortem examination revealed that Mr Gavin died after being stabbed.

The victim was seen having an argument in Athelstan Road earlier on Wednesday, which involved more than one person.
