Air passengers could see double
Mandy and Michelle Cole
The twins have been at Air South west since its launch in 2003
Passengers flying with Air Southwest may think they are seeing double as a pair of identical twins take to the skies as cabin crew.

Mandy and Michelle Cole, 32 and from Plymouth, joined Air Southwest at its launch in October 2003.

Mandy worked in customer services on the ground while Michelle earned her wings as cabin crew.

Mandy had flown before and decided to return to the air and recently completed her refresher training.

Name badges

Mandy, who is the younger of the twins, said: "Since we've both been working with Air Southwest we've had some really funny moments with customers.

"There have been times when I've checked them in for a flight and Michelle has met them boarding the aircraft, which makes it look like one is in two places at once."

Michelle said many of the airline's regular travellers had got to know the twins.

"Apparently they can tell us apart because they say I'm more talkative than Mandy," she said.

"But if they are in any doubt they can just look at our name badges."
