A Cornish charity working with men who carry out domestic violence is to close within two months because of a lack of funding. Men and Relationships (MaRs) was set up to change behaviour in abusers who are referred by police or social services, while also protecting victims.
The charity's bid for lottery funds has been rejected.
A spokeswoman said they needed 110,000 a year to carry out their work and three support groups would have to go.
The charity is preparing to close down in nine weeks.
