House takes visitors back in time

Cotehele will turn into a country gentleman's household
Visitors to an historic Cornish house are being given the opportunity to learn more about 16th Century life.

A Tudor re-enactment group are basing themselves at Cotehele House in south east Cornwall over the weekend.

The Hungerford Household group will take over the National Trust property for two days and will turn it into a country gentleman's household.

Visitors will be able to see day-to-day life including court, peasant dancing and textile work.

There will also be an opportunity for people to learn Tudor dances.

Children will be able to take part in a number of activities such as learning to weave and making tassels.
