Communities Secretary Hazel Blears has defended her position after coming under fire for not paying capital gains tax on profit from the sale of a London flat.
Speaking outside her house in Salford, Greater Manchester, she told the BBC she had complied with Commons and tax rules but understood how strongly the public felt about the issue.
