THE DAILY POLITICS
James Landale

If you're watching in broadband, here's how to find your favourite parts of the latest show.

1230 Andrew welcomes our guest for the programme, Ed Davey, Liberal Democrat trade and industry spokesman.

1203 With the Prime Minister being urged to sack his Home Secretary, nurses shouting that the Health Secretary should be sacked, and John Prescott found in the sack, historians may come to regard yesterday as the symbolic end of New Labour. This morning's newspapers right across the political spectrum make grim reading for the government and many key figures in the New Labour project. John Prescott, Charles Clarke, Patricia Hewitt, Tess Jowell, Ruth Kelly. Jenny asks whether we're now holed below the waterline, with only a week to go to the local elections.

1205 Jenny's joined by polling expert Professor John Curtice.

1208 Andrew's joined by Labour's Ian Gibson.

1216 A couple of weeks ago, a mother with an autistic son took her life and his by jumping from the Humber Bridge. The deaths of Alison and Ryan Davies captured the headlines and prompted calls for more help for families like them. But as Laura reports, sadly, this is not the first time the mother of a child with autism has taken such shocking action.

1224 We're joined by James Landale, who's spent the morning in Downing Street.

1226 Your emails and questions for Ed Davey.
