Jeremy Bowen, the BBC's Middle East Editor, explores the causes, the events and the unfinished business of the 1967 War in the Middle East.
Forty years on he travels to Israel, the Palestinian territories, Egypt, Syria and Jordan to talk to some of the key players, and to show how 1967 and its legacy has shaped what is happening in the region today.
Part Four: End Game
In the final days Israel and Syria battle over the Golan Heights, while President Gamal Abdel-Nasser of Egypt resigns.
Finally, at the close of the war, Israel ends the fighting by observing UN ceasefire.
