Tax sharing boost to reputation
Jersey's Chief Minister said he hopes an agreement to share tax information with the Netherlands will help improve Jersey's international reputation.

Senator Frank Walker said it will help the tax authorities to track where money goes more easily.

Jersey agreed to exchange tax information with the USA in 2002 and negotiations for similar agreements are now underway with 14 other countries.

Senator Walker said "It will reflect well on the island's reputation."
