Prospective Jersey politicians will be asked to make their official declarations this evening. Candidates wishing to stand for Deputy will attend one of several meetings taking place at parish and public halls across the island.
The potential incumbents have until 20 minutes after the meeting opens to declare their intentions.
The elections for the position of Deputy will take place on Wednesday 23 November, 2005.
