Members set for 2.5% pay increase
Politicians in Jersey look set to get a 2.5% pay rise for the next three years under plans before the States.

Unless a politician lodges a proposition by the end of Thursday's deadline it means that from next year members will get just over 37,500.

The pay review body recommends the rate of wages and expenses for politicians in Jersey and is proposing no increase in the current expenses of 3,650.

It also says members should be paid for a month after they leave office.
