Island environment in spotlight
Waste landfill site
High levels of waste are among key priorities
Climate change, high car ownership and high levels of waste are among key priorities identified in a new report on Jersey's environment.

The State of Jersey report is being launched at a conference on Saturday.

The quality and quantity of water, transport, changes to the countryside and Jersey's natural history are also listed as key areas.

The report is being launched as part of this weekend's Planet Jersey event, an environmental exhibition.

Jersey's Environmental authorities say the island needs to consider its current policies and actions if it is to ensure future generations continue to benefit from the environment.
