Plans to dispose of rubbish and other waste in Jersey and Guernsey are being discussed by politicians. Jersey's Senator Philip Ozouf says the meeting is part of an overall rethink about how the islands can deal with their rubbish.
There have already been talks about the possibility of the two islands sharing an incinerator.
A recent survey found residents would like to recycle their rubbish but want the process to be made easier.

Senator Philip Ozouf, whose committee is responsible for a waste strategy, says it makes sense to explore all options.
He said: "We're looking at all area of co-operation, but one of the main items on the agenda is how both islands should deal with our waste.
"I'm hoping to get agreement for running a joint project on dealing with Channel Island waste over the next weeks and months."
Last month Guernsey's Environment Department said the waste strategies of both islands were closer than ever, which made one single plant more feasible.
