President accused of 'cover-up'
A Member of the House of Keys has accused the president of Tynwald of a cover-up over the consent to extension plans at the airport.

MHK Peter Karran accused President Noel Cringle when some of his questions about the issue were not allowed.

He was claiming that planning consent had been given against inaccurate runway lengths.

Mr Cringle denied the claims and told Mr Karran that the matter was currently undergoing a planning appeal.
