Blackspot works ahead of schedule
Windy corner work
Line painting still needs to be completed at the site
Motorists who rely on the Isle of Man Mountain Road could be using it again as early as next week if improvement works stay ahead of schedule.

The section between Brandywell Road and the Creg-ny-Baa back road was expected to remain shut until the end of April.

Essential safety improvements at Windy Corner have involved workers widening the road and smoothing the curve.

The team behind the 200,000 project said they had made "exceptional progress" despite adverse weather.
