The QE2 is moored off the coast of Guernsey as part of one of the island's busiest weekends for cruise ships. The ship, weighing 70,000 tonnes and 960ft long, has a top speed of 32 knots and is one of the largest and fastest passenger vessels afloat.
The QE2 is one of four cruise liners visiting the islands over the bank holiday weekend.
More than �700,000 was brought into the economy from cruise passengers visiting the island during the summer of 2006.
More than 80 vessels visited Guernsey last year, with 100,000 passengers going ashore.
