Island 'meeting economic targets'
A UK economist says Guernsey is largely on track to meet its targets for economic growth.

Rosemary Radcliffe was part of a panel assessing progress on adapting to the multi-million pound revenue shortfall caused by changing corporation tax.

She says productivity does need to be improved in some parts of the economy through education and training.

The States is considering plans for companies to pay less corporation tax from 2008.
