School proposals are reconsidered
Guernsey's Education Department has been asked to go back to the drawing board over plans for a new school.

States members were told plans for the secondary school at Les Nicolles did not represent value for money.

Potential savings are now being identified, which may include a reduction in the number of classrooms.

The States is being asked to curb public spending because of an expected shortfall in revenue if corporation tax is abolished in 2008.
