'Pea soup' fog is hitting flights
Thick fog at Guernsey Airport is causing problems at the start of one of the busiest weekends of the year.

Only two flights made it into the island on Friday morning and nothing has departed at the start of the school half-term holiday.

An airport spokesman said it was like "pea soup" and that the forecast for much of the rest of the day was looking "unpromising" for passengers.

However, people due to depart are still being asked to check-in on time.
