Old airport terminal demolished
The building operation to demolish Guernsey's old airport terminal has been completed.

The rubble from the old building has been crushed to form the foundations of a new parking area. It is also being used for other building projects.

The new parking site will be used to hold commercial aircraft and is due to be completed in the autumn.

Guernsey Airport Director, Colin Le Ray, says he is pleased with the way the demolition operation has gone.

The island's new airport terminal began operations in April.
