Contractors working on Guernsey's old airport terminal have embarked on a huge recycling project. The building may be coming down, but nearly every inch of it will be used in other island building projects.
Concrete recovered from the demolition will be crushed and used as a foundation for a new aircraft apron.
Guernsey's new airport terminal, which replaces the island's 65-year-old former building, opened for business last month.
The outer shell of the old airport terminal will remain up for as long as possible, to ensure the safety of aeroplanes and passengers in the area.
