Town's roadworks programme starts
Roadworks
Resurfacing and road alterations are being carried out
A major programme of roadworks in Guernsey has begun in the north of St Peter Port.

Glategny Esplanade, Admiral Park and Les Banques will all be affected by the work in coming weeks.

The esplanade is being resurfaced and will be closed on Monday and on following Sundays, but a contraflow system will be in place on weekdays.

Work begins on Tuesday to improve drainage in the area of Le Bouet and Les Banques.

Improvements to the roads at Admiral Park starts on Wednesday.

Elizabeth Way will be closed for 11 weeks from between the Bouet and the Checkers roundabout.
