Roadworks in a Guernsey parish are going to be co-ordinated to minimise disruption to motorists. Work starts next week on replacing the traffic signals at the junction of Foote's Lane and Les Varendes.
The job has been timed to coincide with other work in the lane, which is closed for two weeks from Monday.
Both Guernsey Gas and Guernsey Water will be working to install new services to the Grammar School.
The lights at the Foote's Lane junction are the latest stage in the Environment Department's three-year, rolling programme to replace all the island's ageing signals.
