Alderney offered vision of future
General view of Alderney
The results of the survey will be made available to the States
People in Alderney have been responding to a public consultation exercise about their future in greater numbers than had been anticipated.

The first "Vision Alderney" quality of life questionnaires were delivered to homes on the island on Tuesday.

Organiser Gerry Clarke said the number of replies that had been received already was "astonishing".

He said the questionnaire gave islanders the chance to air their views while remaining anonymous.

The results will be presented at a public meeting on 20 September and it is hoped the island's government may use them as a basis for its future policy making.
