Views sought on island's future
General view of Alderney
The results of the survey will be made available to the States
Islanders in Alderney are being encouraged to put forward views on their quality of life.

Vision Alderney is holding a public meeting on Tuesday evening to test market a survey they would like to send out in August.

Work is well under way on the content of the questionnaire, which will be distributed by hand in mid-August.

It will be completed anonymously and the results will be given to the States, to inform policy and debate.

The meeting is being held at 1930 BST at the Catholic Hall.

It is hoped islanders will turn up and help further refine the survey before it is published.

The meeting will also discuss how the results will be collated and used.
