A survey conducted at Guernsey's airport and harbour has found the overwhelming majority of visitors to the island enjoyed their stay. The study was carried out by a UK market research company.
Nearly 800 visitors were questioned and 84% of them said they were happy with their holiday.
The results featured in a seminar earlier this month organised by the Tourism Advisory Group and the Guernsey Hotel and Tourism Association.
It was attended by 22 of the island's hotel owners and managers who discussed the future of their sector.
Stuart Pinnell, chief executive of the Tourist Board, said the occasion was meant to give people a chance to debate how money should be spent on marketing the island as a holiday destination.
