People who use Jersey's Fort Regent Leisure Centre say a report on the reform of gambling should not have recommended putting a casino there. The Fort Users Association is also astonished the report from the University of Salford has only just been made public.
The report recommended putting a new casino at Fort Regent,with cable cars linking it to the Waterfront.
But the people who use the Fort say that should never have been suggested.
They say the report should have focused on gambling in Jersey and not potential uses for Fort Regent.
The group says the real issues concerning the future of the fort are being ignored.
