Passenger numbers show increase
Le Cocqs aircraft
Both Aurigny and LeCocqs have enjoyed an increase

The number of people flying in and out of Alderney has risen again.

The number of passengers flying so far this year has nearly topped the 19,000 mark.

Both Aurigny and LeCocqs airline companies have experienced increases.

The private aviation sector has seen nearly a 50% increase in the first third of the year, when compared to 2002.

States member Ralph Burridge has put the trend down primarily to a successful marketing campaign.

He said the figures justified an upgrade to Alderney's airport facilities.
