Easter in JA
Cecile and Macka Diamond - no

Adventures of Seani B
24 March 05
Previous day | Next day

Woke up this morning with a crazy headache, but still had to go our daily production meeting at 8.30am. Once that was done and dusted it was time for two painkillers and back to bed for a couple more hours kip. After a few hours the batteries were recharged, ready for Robbo's Dancehall Splurt show, live from Shaggy's Big Yard studio. For once I was running late, but it wasn't my fault! I thought traffic in the UK was bad, but traffic in uptown Kingston resembles a car park.

Big Yard was already buzzing with artists when I got there. Voicemail, Danny English, Warrior King and Chuck Fender were a few of the early birds. Whilst we were on air Fame FM DJ's Alric and Boyd were recording their prediceted summer smash, the El Toro riddim in one of the Big Yard studios. They had much love for the Mixlab show which made it easier for me to beg some acapellas from them!

To Robbo's surprise, bad gyal Cecile declared her love for me on air (which of course I already knew...), but I think he was making a move for Sandy Star. None of us tried it on with Macka Diamond as we don't get paid that much money-o from 1Xtra to keep her happy. Listen back online to here all the exclusive freestyles, It was BIG and a great way to kick off our Easter in JA broadcasts - respect Robbo.

Believe me, today was a taxing day, so it was back to the hotel to have a plate of food, bottle of Red Stripe and off to bed to draw some ZZZZZZZ's.

Check back in tomorrow to see what's popping in Jamrock.
