The Channel Tunnel Rail Link will give trains on the UK side of the tunnel a dedicated route to and from London for the first time.

The 109km (67.7 miles) of track is the country's first new railway for more than 100 years.

The first section - from the Channel to Fawkham Junction in Kent - opened in 2003, with the rest expected to open in 2007.
