Bernice Horton, 51, is staying at the shelter as she searches for her son, Larry Horton Jr, 18.

She last saw him two days before the storm, when he went to see his father.

She has found no trace of him despite checking two or three times a day for their names.

"It don't make sense to move around. I'll be here until something breaks."
