We spoke to Roger Williams at our Wales Writers Festival in December 2019. Roger is a Welsh playwright and screenwriter and was shortlisted for a Writers’ Guild Award in 2018 for his ground breaking crime drama series BANG. Roger started his screenwriting career with the BAFTA-award nominated drama series TALES FROM PLEASURE BEACH for BBC Two and went on to win BAFTA screenwriting awards for his work on Welsh language dramas TIR and CAERDYDD. He created the Celtic Media Festival award winning drama series GWAITH/CARTREF for S4C and has written drama for broadcasters including Channel 4 and CBBC.
