The Big Bite-Size Breakfast Show | Bite-Size Plays in association with Pleasance Theatre Trust

Bite-Size Plays in association with Pleasance Theatre are searching for new 10-15 minute plays to be performed as part of this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
If selected, your piece will be performed alongside fourteen other pieces in rotation as part of one of three menus throughout the entire run of the Fringe from the 7th to the 31st of August 2026 at one of Pleasance Theatre’s largest venues.
A license fee of £50.00 will be paid for each successful submission.

Writers will be informed of the status of their submissions by the end of June.
Due to the number of submissions, we won't be able to provide feedback.
- Only play scripts will be accepted, intended for live performance. Film, TV, and Radio scripts will not be accepted.
- Please note that this is a breakfast show, whilst we programme both comedy and drama, we will naturally favour plays that lean more towards the lighter side
- Your piece must be no longer than 15 minutes in duration.
- Your piece must work with basic sound/lighting and ideally minimal set/props.
- The cast size recommendation is between 1- 5.
- Writers can send more than one play, but please no more than two, send us your best!
