In the film A View to a Kill, his character is shot down by James Bond in the first few minutes. He is now a legendary figure in the BBC's Russian Service. Having trained as a navigator in the Soviet merchant fleet, Seva left to pursue his love of music, playing sax in various jazz and rock bands touring all over the Soviet Union before moving to London in 1977 and beginning his broadcasting career.
