To mark the release of the World Meteorological Organization's new International Cloud Atlas, here at Weather Watchers we thought it was only right to show off some of OUR best cloud pictures!

Kelvin-Helmholtz clouds, now officially recognised as fluctus, spotted in Poole, Dorset, by Mike. Photo taken in February.

Asperitas clouds, often spotted by our Weather Watchers, have now been officially classified in the Cloud Atlas. This great example was captured in Bakewell, Derbyshire, by Fractus, in March.

A fallstreak hole photographed by Ed, in Bassingbourn, Cambridgeshire, will now be officially called cavum. Photo taken in January.

Fallstreak holes (cavum) can come in all different shapes and sizes! These two were spotted by Adrian in Wimborne Minster, Dorset, in January.

Earthseasky spotted these dramatic lenticular clouds at sunset in Coltfield, Moray, in September 2016.

These 'UFO shaped' lenticular clouds were captured by GillyG in Richmond, North Yorkshire, in March.
