British Columbia has been inundated with intense rainfall.

The Pacific Northwest has been inundated with copious rain during the last week as a series of low pressure systems piled into British Columbia and Washington state, fuelled by additional tropical moisture on in what is known as an 'atmospheric river'. Almost 300mm of rain fell during the 3 days from Saturday to Monday.
