1982: Training for the women's Oxford v Cambridge boat race

A squad of female rowers from the University of Oxford were working hard to prepare for their upcoming race against Cambridge. Whilst the women's competition at Henley was overshadowed by the more famous men's race on the Thames, the stakes were just as high - not only for the race itself, but for those women who wanted to secure a place on the team. Bill Kerr Elliott went to meet them.
