1991: Introducing The Red Barrows!
The British love a pun and in 1991 a group of lads from Chorley, Lancashire took some wordplay and literally ran with it. The Red Barrows shunned the aerial acrobatics and costly aircraft of the RAF Red Arrows and instead created their own equally magnificent display team showing off the grace and elegance of the humble wheelbarrow.
