1996: Eating a raw leek for St David's Day!

Blue Peter invited members of the Royal Regiment of Wales, plus the hirsute Lance Corporal Shenkin, into the studio to demonstrate their unusual St David's Day tradition which is carried out by their newest and youngest recruits. Instead of a new recruit, Wrexham born presenter Tim Vincent took up the challenge.
