1995: Lisa Clayton sails around the world

Lisa Clayton sails back to a hero's welcome in Darthmouth, as the first British woman to complete a single-handed, non-stop, circumnavigation of the globe.

She has spent 285 days at sea in her vessel the "Spirit of Birmingham", travelling 31,000-miles, and surviving two capsizes.
