When he joined the BBC Bus in Liverpool, Nigel Smith knew what he would do if he were prime minster. He wants to address the problems people face making the leap between benefits and work. If there was more financial support to let people start working, he feels they would be more likely to find jobs and be less reliant on the welfare system.
