On May 12, 2008 a deadly earthquake hit Sichuan province of China killing at least 68,000 people. The Chinese community in Glasgow held a special silence for the earthquake victims on May 23rd. Both young and old attended to light candles, sing Chinese hymns and donate money for the earthquake casualties. Video Nation Network contributor, Ke Cai, used his experience from the Silk Screens workshop he attended, to go out and capture the event and then submit his film to our site as part of the feature.
