Working with BBC Connect and Create, on a UK Youth Volunteers project, the Chief Executive of Volunteering England explains why volunteering has moved on. Justin Davis Smith feels young people deserve something in return for their work in the voluntary sector. His says they often volunteer to gain experiences they need to shape their futures, which is why the charity works hard to match people up to the experiences they need.
