Woolly or silky, there are lots of different types of scarves and they come in handy for pretend play and fun with your baby.
A scarf makes a brilliant tickly snake. This shows your baby you can have fun with objects and pretend they're different things. Make a snake sound while you play.
Try hiding behind the scarf and then popping out for a game of peek-a-boo! This shows your baby that you're still there even when they can't see you.
You could make up a song as you wave the scarf. A silly song might make your baby giggle, or try a slow song to get them ready for some calm time.
Big or small, wooly or silky, it doesn't matter what type of scarf you own. They're all great for playing with your baby.
