Why is this recipe great for kids?

This recipe is a great way for kids to get involved in cooking. With parental supervision, they can have a go at holding a box grater steadily and grate safely.

In this recipe, children also are able to mix ingredients together to build strength and coordination, and roll mixtures into balls to develop fine motor skills.

Making these oat and apple bites is a way for children to have fun and get hands on in the kitchen.
